form “ Friends of Music – PRO
PIANO-ROMANIA“ – Brief Presentation Initiated in 2003 by the “ PRO PIANO–ROMANIA “, Cultural Foundation with Public Utility Statute, the project is thought as a way of encouraging, stimulating and promoting children and young people with ages between 4 and 18 years old, who study piano in their free time, either in state schools, either in private schools.
It is an important cultural activity for their free time, undermining the harmful influences of streets ( absenteeism, violence, drugs ).
The purposes for initiating this section are as follows:
• encouraging learning to play a musical instrument, together with the obligatory general culture ;
• offering a possibility for showing what was learned ;
• creating an organized environment for musical and artistic manifestations ;
• offering a cultural alternative for spending the free time, undermining the many harmful influences of streets (absenteeism, violence, drugs, school drop-outs, etc).
